Ten very good reasons to stay in a Disney villa for your vacation.

Listed below are ten very good reason why you should choose to stay in a Disney villa rather than a hotel.

  • As they say in life, location, location, location is one of the most important items to consider when buying or renting a house. Most of the vacation rental properties in the Orlando and Kissimmee area are just a few minutes drive away from the main attractions such as Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure and Sea World. There is also the I4 corridor which can take you to Tampa and the rest of the Gulf Coast in less than two hours.
  • Great design and high quality construction – these places are not your average log cabin in the wilderness. Many of the vacation properties available to rent in the Orlando and Kissimmee area were built pretty recently and have a very durable construction that exceeds most building codes and complies with safety codes as well (fire alarm, door alarms leading to the pool area).
  • You will always have a guaranteed parking space - no more parking fees, tips for the valet, or remembering where you parked your car. Park in your own driveway instead of hiking across a crowded parking lot that can sometimes be half the length of a football field.
  • Room to move - did you ever try to hold a family reunion in a hotel room? Most vacation homes offer properties with three and four bedrooms (or even up to seven or eight), and enough bathrooms so that everyone doesn’t have to wait their turn to take a shower.
  • A villa will be far less expensive than you imagine - if you are renting a vacation home, the cost of your stay (especially if you are splitting the cost with friends and family) can be less than a week’s stay in an upscale hotel. If you are a vacation property owner, renters can provide supplemental income when you are not using your second home.
  • All the benefits of a hotel - many resorts with vacation properties offer recreational activities, party rooms, and swimming pools for their guests, and their onsite staff takes care of all the maintenance.
  • With a villa you get all the comforts of home – there is no need to leave that “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door before you go to bed at night. Sleep in as late as you want in the privacy of your own home.
  • Save on restaurant costs – if you eat out every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner you will spend a great deal of money. Your wallet will slim down while your waist will expand. By shopping at the nearby supermarkets, you can buy the groceries and supplies you need and then make use of your own fully fitted kitchen. Of course you are still able to eat out whenever you want. You get the best of both worlds.
  • Enjoy the great outdoors - trade in that tiny postage stamp sized hotel balcony for a real backyard (garden). Most rental villas will even have their own private heatable swimming pool. Either way, you will have a lot more space and privacy lounging on the patio area or lawn of a vacation home.
  • Get away from the crowds - you did not come to Orlando just to spend all of your time waiting in line. After a tiring but enjoyable day at the theme parks you will avoid the jam packed hotel lobbies, chain restaurants, and other tourist traps. Just park your car in the driveway, turn the key, open the door and relax. You’re already home.
