NCAA Targeting Terrelle Pryor

Ohio State, specifically their start QB Terrelle Pryor, is not out of the woods yet. Even after their head coach Jim Tressel resigned, the NCAA is coming down harder on the Buckeyes. Now, they are looking into car purchases made by Buckeye players over the years, especially Pryor.

While it has already been proven that Pryor and other players sold team merchandise and got some free tattoos and was punished for that, the NCAA decided that wasn't enough. Now, they are looking at car purchases made from the same dealership.

All car purchases made by athletes were cleared first with OSU, according to the car dealership. Pryor has also stated that he never gave them anything to get discounts or free stuff in return.

The first incident, which most think was a witchhunt, involved players selling rings and merchandise that was given to them by the school. They were not allowed to make money off of their merchandise, stated the NCAA. Also, they got some free tattoo work that is also not covered under the rules.
