As more and more families travel and try to make the most out of their vacation, they are looking to smaller, posh-like hotels that offer tons of kid-friendly amentities as well.
When using the term posh, we use it lightly. These hotels are extremely personable, meaning the staff knows your name and makes sure that all of your needs are taken care of. They offer dress-up clothes, toys, video game systems, kid's movies and so much more. They really are the future of hotels.
Parents and older children like the style of these type of hotels. They are sleek, modern and just show a lot of character. Kids think they are cool, which makes it that much more fun for the older ones in your life. Nothing is harder then trying to please a 14 year old girl who doesn't want to be seen with her parents.
Finally, the parents and the kids have their own separate rooms. Kids often sleep in bunk beds in one area while the parents sleep in a room connected by a short hallway.
If you are looking for a hotel that will give you a hometown feel to it, start looking to small, single hotels instead of the large, chain hotels.
