Birther Book Rises on NY Best Sellers List

Despite recently releasing his birth certificate after years of controversy, President Obama's US citizenship is again being questioned. This time, by an author who has a history of blasting Democrat presidents/candidates.

"Where's the Birth Certificate?" by Jerome Corsi questions Barrack Obama on whether or not he was born in the US. Corsi says that no legal authority has ever verified his birth certificate, which means he is not capable of serving a the president of the United States.

To be president of the United States, you need to be born in the United States or you are not allowed to run, as set forth in the US Constitution. President Obama, who was born in Hawaii, has long been rumored to be born in Kenya, which is where his father is from.

The birther movement is a movement by right wing radicals who are pushing to get a court to make President Obama get his birth certificate verified by a legal official not associated with the presidency. So far, every court has thrown out these attempts.

Earlier this year, Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona had a chance to sign into law a provision that all candidates listed on the ballot in the state of Arizona must prove their birth. However, she vetoed the bill to the dissappointment of many conservatives.
