Former Oracle President Leads Information

As Charles Phillips Oracle employment ends, a new employment opportunity has come. By late October of 2010, Phillips has been named as CEO for Infor. This comes after announcement of his resignation as Oracle president. He is replaced by Mark Hurd, who was HPs former chief executive. Infor is the worlds 3rd largest enterprise company. It provides business applications to companies worldwide. Infors CEO Jim Schaper will remain as chairman where he continues to play a vital role in the company.

 Phillips expertise in the software industry is what made him a sought after executive. His long and impressive track record at Oracle Corporation has allowed him to increase the companys revenue by 300%. As Oracles president, he has help make acquisitions of numerous companies. Phillips played a vital role in the acquisition of PeopleSoft for over $10 billion, just one month after joining Oracle Corporation. He was considered the front man of Oracle who helped put the corporation as one of the worlds largest software companies. Prior to Charles Phillips Oracle employment, he served as a U.S. Marine captain. He later earned his MBA, and law degree. He soon landed a job as a software analyst in Stanley Morgan where Oracle CEO Larry Ellison saw his potential and hired him into Oracle Corporation. 

Charles Phillips hopes to lead Infor into more growth in the global market. It already has $2 billion in annual growth and with Phillips leadership, this would surely multiply. With employees amounting t0 8,000 in numbers and who serves over 70,000 customers around 125 countries, Charles Phillips has expressly shown his optimism for Infors further progress and development.
